Ready Set Go…
How It Works
At Kaye/Bassman (KBIC), we know how valuable your time is and strive to make obtaining the right fitting Locum Tenens opportunity as fast and easy as possible. There are no lengthy applications to complete and we won’t waste your time discussing Locum Tenens jobs that don’t match your interests. You’ll receive expert support throughout the process. KBIC is a more concierge like experience, unlike other Locum Tenens and permanent physician staffing firms. You won’t have an ever changing cast of clerical people to try and keep up with. Your personal consultant is directly in touch with the client and you .Your placement specialist is tenured, with at least 5 years of experience in the physician recruiting profession. They are empowered to act as a single go-between for all of the aspects involved in your assignment.
The Initial Interaction
The first step is that we’ll schedule a phone consultation with your KBIC Locum Tenens expert to discuss your interests, goals, and work history in order to get a good sense of what you’re looking for and gather the information we’ll need to place you in a Locum job. If you’re interested in a permanent position, we will need an updated copy of your CV before our initial conversation as well as a few references so we can move forward immediately.
Explore Available/future Locum Tenens Positions
Now that we understand your background and the type of Locum Tenens job you’re looking for, your individual consultant will leverage KBIC’s extensive network of contacts and available positions. We’ll present you with options that match your needs, goals, and availability.
Submitting Your CV to the Assignment
Only after you’ve had a chance to evaluate your options and have decided which position(s) you’re interested in, we’ll submit your CV and other critical information to our client for review. We may recommend a phone interview between you and our client to make sure everyone agrees it is a good fit.
Make Your Decision
If you and the client decide to move forward, we’ll put the details of the locum assignment on paper and finalize the agreement. Keep in mind that gaining credentials into a medical facility can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
We Handle Any Licensing, Credentialing and Travel Related Details
Now that all parties have agreed to move forward, your consultant will work with you to handle any remaining details, such as those related to licensing, credentialing, and travel, instead of being handed off to numerous people to try to handle the specifics. Your consultant will guide you through step by step and will help you with all the paperwork and details; saving you time and energy.
Now you go to work
Once we’ve completed all licensing, credentialing, and travel related matters, you’re ready to get started! You’ll be paid on a net 15 basis as an independent contractor through direct deposit. Your consultant will check in with you periodically to see how things are going and to review additional opportunities that may be of interest. Throughout the process, you’ll have one point of contact from start to finish. You won’t have an ever changing cast of clerical people to try and keep up with. One specific consultant will be accountable for all aspects of your assignment so you will have one number to call, one person to speak to, and one contact who understands all sides of the assignment. This makes us as efficient as possible and is the preferred way to service for our providers and clients.
